I will definitely be rooting for CROSBY! over Detroit. I can't stand forced storylines ("the Red Wings are playing for the city that's going through it's toughest time", "Detroit could use an emotional uplift", etc, etc.) Yes, the economy is hurting some regions and industries harder than others, but enough already. It's sports. It's always been a natural distraction. I fail to see how Detroit winning alleviates GM's pending bankruptcy so stop making your case for it. ESPN, again I'm looking in your direction.
